To enable the strategic digital transformation that would accelerate growth, family-owned O’Brien Fine Foods needed to consolidate its existing ERP software solutions. The company was able to merge 30 disparate platforms into a single, composable solution – IFS Cloud – simplifying the technology environment while also bringing in enhanced functionality to drive productivity and efficiency.
Real-time data insights delivered by the Industrial AI-fueled solution have also allowed the leadership team to make immediate, more informed decisions from financial reporting to manufacturing operations on the factory floor. Stock management has improved and management reporting has been streamlined, resulting in greater efficiencies across the supply chain. IFS partner Arcwide were responsible for the implementation and roll-out of this very successful project.
The consolidation comes as O’Brien Fine Foods undergoes a major growth cycle. It is continuing to capture an increased share of the market in its native Ireland, and is due to open a new factory in Leeds as it expands into the UK.
